Kelly, Zoe and I traveled to Leon, Nicaragua September 19 to 25. The purpose of this trip was to finally help purchase a new vehicle for Pastor Guido. We’ve been waiting to fill this need for a number of years and now had the funding and had done the research to make us feel comfortable in proceeding with accomplishing this goal. Ever since I first met Pastor Guido in 2009 he’s been driving a 1988 Isuzu pickup truck that had now accumulated over 600,000 miles. We all had to face the fact that though it lived a good life…it was coming to an end. Guido was somewhat reluctant to part with the little truck but realized he had no choice. We were able to find a late model Toyota diesel powered 15 passenger van. The Guidos were delighted that it included a/c. With this new tool Pastor Guido will continue to serve his people and community. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to Milagro Initiative over the past years.
